Hitting the Mark

While we often like to showcase the beautiful, interesting, and humorous design work of others on this blog, sometimes we want to give you a little peek of what we’re working on, as well. Our wedding designs get their time in the spotlight in magazines and blogs, but the logos and websites we design are more content to stay out of the limelight. They prefer, instead, to quietly do their job working hard for our awesome clients. Today, we give them some attention.

Many businesses need their logos to work hard and be flexible. When you’ve got business cards, websites, blogs, thank you notes, signs, and product packaging, you need a logo and branding system that can keep up the pace. This is why we explore secondary marks to complement a main logo. Below is a collection of marks we created for Swoon Over It Photography.

With this collection of consistent marks, Amanda can be confident that no matter the application (letterhead or photo watermark), her brand is strong.

With multiple marks and an overall palette of five colors, we helped the Global Community Charter School stay flexible for a number of applications (from newsletters to uniforms) and several audiences (from kindergartners to board members).

We enjoy working with our clients to build rich branding systems. We’ve got a few more logo projects in the works right now and, while we can’t show you just yet, we are really excited about them. If you’ve got a new business in need of a logo or you’re looking for a refresh, we’d love to talk to you!
