First concert? Rock? Crosby, Stills and Nash. Unfortunately, no Young — but pretty respectable for a first concert, seeing as I was in sixth grade. Classical? Vivaldi’s Four Seasons at La Sainte-Chapelle in Paris. Also not too shabby.
Favorite book? Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Jonathan Safran Foer.
If you had one day left to live, what would you do? Eat everything in sight.

Second most embarrassing moment? Lifting my skirt up over my head during the rousing opening number of the 4th grade musical, Steamboatin’. And yes, it’s captured on film.

First concert? Debbie Gibson, Electric Youth tour, 1989. I wore LA Gear sneakers with two pairs of fluorescent socks, cut-off jean shorts (rolled up), a bright aqua cotton shirt knotted on the side, and a side ponytail.

Second most embarrassing moment? (What, you think we’re going to tell you the first?) When I was the World’s Worst Waitress for two whole weeks, I spilled an entire glass of iced tea on a man who was on his lunch break, wearing khakis. It was mortifying. I quit a few days later.
Most irrational fear? Cotton balls
Farthest you’ve traveled from home? Salzburg, Austria, to visit my best friend, who moved there in 2003.
Favorite power ballad? "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake
Guilty pleasure? Any documentary-style show on MTV… True Life, The Buried Life, Made, The Hills, The City, Teen Mom, etc.
